Account Deletion & Data Privacy

At Binding Docs, we value your privacy and believe you should have full control over your personal data. If you decide to close or delete your account, we provide a transparent and straightforward process to ensure your information is handled securely.

You can initiate the deletion of your account and all associated data directly through our web application by following these steps:

1.  Sign In: Log in to your account at app.bindingdocs.com 
2. Access Profile: Click on your profile icon/name in the main navigation menu.
3. Account Settings: Select the "Account Settings" tab from the sidebar or menu.
4. Request Deletion: Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the "Delete Account" section.
5. Confirm: Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your identity and finalize the request.

Once you submit a deletion request, the following process begins:

• Grace Period: Your account will be deactivated immediately. However, to prevent accidental loss or unauthorized requests, your data is securely retained for a period of 7 days (1 week).
• Permanent Removal: After this 7-day window, all your personal information, account history, and stored documents will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our active servers.
• Excluded Data: Please note that certain data may be retained for a longer period only if required by legal obligations or to comply with regulatory financial reporting (e.g., transaction invoices).

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion via our support team, please contact us at support@bindingdocs.com We will process your request within 48 hours.
